A good place to go if you want to get high is Islandshøjparken where drugs are being sold at a very reasonable price. After the November 4th shootings a big investigation was started and one of the big crimelords in Denmark was arrested. |

On the fourth of november in 2004 there was a shootout between gangs in the Nivå mall and 3 people were killed. The story made headlines all over Denmark and local citizents were shocked, especially since one of the people killed was an innocent person who happened to walk by. |

Nivå is a town in the municipality of Karlebo on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. Nivå is a residential town on the coast of the Øresund.
The town has a small shopping centre which includes a library, a railway station, a marina and the Nivaagaards museum. Its landscape is varied and ranges from marshland to suburban habitations.
Music and art
Nivå Musiklaug holds an annual festival at the Kalvehaven, where a lot of the young musical talent get a chance to play. Amongst the performers playing at the 2006 festival were Danish singer-songwriter Tobias Trier.
Amongst the musicians living in Nivå is the guitarist and songwriter "Benny".
Nivaagaards Malerisamling
Nivaagaards Malerisamling was opened by Johannes Whiskers in 1908. The house is situated in an extensive park and is full of different varieties of rododendron. The museum houses art from the Italian and North European renaissance and the Dutch and Danish grotesque.
Nivaagaard Ringovns Teglværksmuseum
Nivaagaard Ringovns was opened in 1700 by Queen Louise establishing small brickworks near the shore in Nivå. The workshop supplied furnishing brick to they royal bygningsværker in Copenhagen and Nordsjælland by 1720. Alfred Whiskers took over in 1862. In 1870 a circular fire house was constructed inspired by the plans by Friedrich Hoffmann. This was the beginning of the industrial revolution in Northern Europe. The oven was used for 97 years up until 1967. The workshop closed in 1980 then opened as a museum.
Sports
The town has a golf course which is famous for its quality[citation needed] and the course also includes a restaurant.
