Ronen Shilo
:The above is a template, your edit hasn't been reverted but does borderline on spam. You did add a good reference though. Several condo articles have been spammed lately, and they are generally reverted quickly. As a guideline, if a page gets viewed enough times to be statistically significant, spam does not stand very long. B137 (talk) 17:58, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
I recently nominated an article for deletion and posted some improvement tags on articles related to a spamming effort, and have come under attack by someone working for both Shilo and his company. I have deleted clear attempts to intimidate me for the editor's own profit here. The editor in question has asked me "why have I made every one of my edits ever", which is a bit of a bizarre question. This exhibition of WP:HOUND is an interesting example of how we need to improve our COI conditions on Wikipedia to ensure those being paid to edit Wikipedia are held to account. Some people are interested in Miami condos, some people are interested in WWII, some in the beaches of North Carolina. And we make edits about what we care about. Others, like the individual attacking me, are paid to Advocate on behalf of their clients. What is fascinating is how expansive these advocacy efforts can grow--people who not only believe they can own their clients' Wikipedia pages, but also the talk pages of anyone conversing with them. Well, they can't. And hopefully one day we will be rid of all people who don't choose to be here unless they get paid! ==Please correct undisclosed COI==

Your edits show that you an an undisclosed conflict of interest as per WP:COI. As per that policy, I am asking that you disclose your status as a COI editor on your Talk page and on all your edits or I will need to elevate this to WP:COIN. Specifically, you have edited entries for Ugo Colombo, an Italian real estate developer based in Miami; forVanessa Grout; the president of his company; Brickell Flatiron, a Miami building owned by Ugo Colombo (your contribution to that article was described on this Talk page as borderline spam, violating WP:NPOV by User: B137); for Zaha Hadid, an architect with many major projects in Miami, including the 2012 proposal for the Miami Beach Convention Center, a project interrupted when "[Ugo] Colombo’s company was charged with making a $25,000 payment to Walter Garcia, an associate of the city’s purchasing director, Gus Lopez. That led Miami Beach’s longtime city manager, Jorge Gonzalez, to put the project on hold pending investigation of bid-tampering and bribery." ( a reference that should be in the Wikipedia article about him); in the same field of real estate development, you have also contributed an article promotional in tone about the condominium 520 West 28th; and contributed to an article about the Italian architect Francesco Gatti.

I am, of course, looking at your account because I don't think your nomination of the Ronen Shilo for deletion should count toward consensus because you have undisclosed bias in that matter. I have a disclosed WP:COI in relation to that article. An undisclosed COI with regard to Colombo et al. is relevant to the proposed article for deletion Ronen Shilo matter because it demonstrates you have a history of not disclosing bias.

As per WP:COI, this request is being made on your Talk page so you can correct the matter on your own, without involving an admin review. Please indicate what you relationship is to these people and projects and update your status everywhere relevant, including on article entries and the Ronen Shilo AfD nomination so reviewers are aware you are a COI editor. Refrain from making direct edits related to your COI again. This is the practice I rigorously follow as an editor who often writes articles where I have a COI, which I always disclose. As per WP:COI You should withdraw all undisclosed COI edits and articles and request they be reviewed by an independent editor. I will follow up on this matter soon.

Thank you.BC1278 (talk) 19:07, 25 August 2015 (UTC)BC1278

Welcome!

Hello, Grump International, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Brickell Flatiron does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

Ronen Shilo

Grump International (talk) 22:33, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
