Fruitflow® , commercialised by Provexis Ltd⁽¹⁾ was originally produced in liquid form derived from the tomato fruit. Daily consumption of 3g of this product was proved by human testing to smooth the platelets contained within the bloodstream, claimed to improve blood flow throughout the venal system resulting in a lower risk of thrombosis. This introduced a natural solution in a key area of cardiovascular health which had often resorted to the use of low dose Aspirin.

One of the principal claims for Fruitflow® is that unlike Apirin it has no known side effects. The US Food and Drug Agency identified Fruitflow® as being Generally Recognised As Safe[[1]] has declined to accept that Aspirin is a satisfactory primary preventative for Heart Attack and Stroke in healthy patients.⁽²⁾
