Telaga or Kapu Naidu is a community concentrated primarily in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and capital city of Hyderabad. They are classified as Forward Caste. They have caste title Naidu or Dora or Leader. In olden times they served as Kshatriyas, Warriors, Governors in Andhra Dynasties. In recent times their professions were Village Heads, Landlords, have diversified into Information Technology, Tollywood, Politicians, Business and Educationists. They share similar history as Yadava, Reddy, Velama and Kamma castes. [1]
