Puruesh Chaudhary (born: January 26 1983)^[1] is a futures researcher, development and strategic narrative professional.^[2] She has a professional master’s degree in International Negotiation and Policymaking from Institut De Hautes Études Internationales Et Du Développement in Geneva.^[3]

Professional Career

Puruesh Chaudhary has been featured amongst the World’s top female futurists.^[4]^[5] ^[6]She has worked with multilateral donors^[7] and aid agencies^[8]^[9]^[10], governmental sectors, news organizations^[11]^[12] and multinationals in Pakistan. She is the Founder and President of AGAHI^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18], a non-governmental organization, which works extensively on creating platforms based on knowledge collaboration and information sharing initiatives. Pakistan Foresight Initiative^[19]^[20]^[21]^[22]^[23], brainchild of AGAHI is developing frameworks to improve policymaking and strategic narratives; structures enabling legislators, strategists, academicians and the community developing shared understanding for effective implementation of decisions. Chaudhary has produced foresight research compilation on the Future of Pakistan up to 2060^[24]^[25]^[26]^[27] and is a published co-author for ‘The Future of Business’^[28] a critical insight on rapidly changing world. ^[29]^[30]Championing “Shaping the future of journalism”^[31]^[32]^[33]^[34]^[35]^[36], Puruesh has co-founded Pakistan’s annual journalism awards (The Agahi Awards);^[37]^[38]^[39]^[40]^[41]^[42]^[43]^[44] content analysis framework (Media Credibility Index and Ethical Media Audit)^[45]^[46]; ^[47]created foresight research fellowship opportunities with the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies of Quaid-e-Azam University^[48]^[49]^[50]^[51], The China Study Center of COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology; ^[52]and developed academic-industry linkages. The Center of International Media Ethics’ honored her to serve as its Ambassador to Pakistan campaigning for quality journalism in the country.^[53]

Chaudhary is currently Member Board of Advisors for CIME^[54] and is a Mentor for UN-Habitat Youth Fund Programme.^[55] Puruesh continues to train and mentor journalists all across Pakistan on values and ethics.^[56]^[57]^[58]^[59]^[60]^[61]^[62]^[63]^[64]^[65]^[66]^[67]^[68] Puruesh is the Alumnae at the National Defence University^[69]^[70] and serves as a Committee Member on Media and Outreach, Recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, she is an ASPEN Alumni^[71], a member of the World Futures Society and is on the Planning Committee of the Millennium-Project (Global Futures Studies and Research) representing the Pakistan Chair.^[72]^[73]
