* '''name''' displays the name of the class at the top of the infobox. Generally only needed if there are multiple infoboxes on the page. If left blank it will default to saying "Current Specifications".
* '''image''' is automatically sized to be no larger than 250 pixels in width and 150 pixels in height. Only the name of the image is needed, as the field fills in the rest of the link (so only <code>picture.svg</code>, not <code><nowiki>[[image:picture.svg]]</nowiki></code>)
* '''imagesize''' is the size, in pixels, to use for the image. The default is 250px x 150px, but the value here overrides that setting.
* '''alt''' sets the [[Wikipedia:Alternative text for images|alternative text]] for the image.
* '''caption''' is optional, and only need is the image needs some explanation.

* '''class_symbol''' will be automatically sized if text, but logos may need to be sized by the editor. A size of "<tt>120x60px</tt>" works well for most logos.
* '''class_image''' is an alternative to the text-based '''class_symbol''', above.
* '''class_imagesize''' sets the size of the image used for the class symbol, if one is employed. Defaults to 80px x 80px if not set.
* '''class_imagealt''' sets the [[Wikipedia:Alternative text for images|alternative text]] for the class symbol image - typically employed to describe the symbol.

'''DEVELOPMENT'''
* '''designer''' is the designer of the class.
* '''location''' is where the class was designed.
* '''year''' is the year the design was first launched.
* '''no built''' (Added June 2016)
* '''design''' states if it is [[One-Design]], a Development Class, or other (such as Box Rule).
* '''class''' when this template is used for a boat then add it here it is worth considering using the template sailboat specification
* '''brand''' (Added June 2016)
* '''builder''' notable builders
* '''role''' is used where the class was designed for a specific purpose, such as a youth trainer.

The '''Swan 36 Mk II''' was designed by [[German Frers]] with styling input by [[Andrew Winch]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 1988.
The Swan 411 is one of quite a few models we designed for Nautor between 1967 - 1989. 42 hulls were built to this particular design between 1977-1979. The 411 was an improvement on the Swan 41 class of boats.

The '''Swan 44 Mk I''' was designed by [[German Frers]] with styling input by [[Andrew Winch]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 1989. The modern styling was not to everyone taste and now to some looks dated so in 1996 the boat was relaunched as the Swan 44 MkII with more conservative in house styling.

The '''Swan 54''' was designed by [[German Frers]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 2016. The boat is actually a development of the Swan 53 sharing the same hull moulding and was market as a bluewater cruisier<ref>http://www.yachtingworld.com/yachts-and-gear/swan-54-an-exciting-new-bluewater-cruiser-from-nautor-68991</ref>. This is one of the few Swans offered with inmast furling as one of the standard options. However other boats have been commissioned with more performance orientated carbon rigs.

The '''Swan 57''' was designed by [[Olin Stepehens]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 1988.
The Swan 57 was one of the last boats designed for Nautor of Finland by Sparkman & Stephens. 49 boats were built during a production run that started in 1977 and ended in 1984. These are great offshore boats and are still sought by buyers.

Here are the plans. The boat was offered in both sloop and ketch configurations and later a centerboard option was added.

The '''Swan 61''' was designed by [[German Frers]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 1985. The Swan 61 is the same as the Swan 59, with an extended transom that provided more room for storage aft, especially for a larger tender. Another benefit of the modified design is that the owner's stateroom aft is larger. In total, 14 yachts were built between 1985 and 1990, bringing the total run of the 59/61 series to 35.

The '''Swan 65''' was designed by [[Olin Stephens]] with styling input by [[Andrew Winch]] and built by [[Nautor's Swan]] and first launched in 1988.
This beautiful production yacht was introduced in 1971. She is a true blue water boat. 41 units were built during the production run that ended in 1989. The boat was available with either a sloop or ketch rig.

Perhaps no example proved the seaworthy merit of the design as well as Sayulla II, a standard production unit that entered the 1973 Whitbread, Round the World Race in 1973, and at the completion of leg 4 for a total of 27,570 miles was declared the winner on corrected time.

Here are some designer's comments by Olin Stephens.

The Swan 36 Mk II was designed by German Frers with styling input by Andrew Winch and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 1988. The Swan 411 is one of quite a few models we designed for Nautor between 1967 - 1989. 42 hulls were built to this particular design between 1977-1979. The 411 was an improvement on the Swan 41 class of boats.

The Swan 44 Mk I was designed by German Frers with styling input by Andrew Winch and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 1989. The modern styling was not to everyone taste and now to some looks dated so in 1996 the boat was relaunched as the Swan 44 MkII with more conservative in house styling.

The Swan 54 was designed by German Frers and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 2016. The boat is actually a development of the Swan 53 sharing the same hull moulding and was market as a bluewater cruisier[1]. This is one of the few Swans offered with inmast furling as one of the standard options. However other boats have been commissioned with more performance orientated carbon rigs.

The Swan 57 was designed by Olin Stepehens and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 1988.

The Swan 61 was designed by German Frers and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 1985.

The Swan 65 was designed by Olin Stephens with styling input by Andrew Winch and built by Nautor's Swan and first launched in 1988.
