Lemon Haze originates from California and is a dominant sativa hybrid. It is mostly found in Southern California.[1]

Yield and Growth Habit

Lemon Haze cannabis seeds generally flower with 8-9 weeks depending on how they are grown and how well they are taken care of. If it’s planted outdoors, cultivators can expect to harvest the buds in mid October. Yields are typically between 425 to 475 grams per plant when grown outdoors. If grown indoors, the yield is usually 150 grams more per plant. The height of the plant reaches between 80 and 140 centimeters indoors, and 130 to 170 centimeters when grown outdoors.[2]

The buds produced by the plant are usually large and elongated. They poses a tapestry of lime green with tinges of golden yellow that only seems to enhance the strain’s lemon goodness. The buds are loose and fluffy just like most sativas. They’re coated with a generous amount of red hairs and THC-rich trichomes.

Genetics and Potency

Lemon Haze is a hybrid of Lemon Skunk and Amnesia Haze, both of which are sativas that have a prominent lemon flavor and aroma. It has one of the highest THC content at 25% and a CBD of around 0.08%. The stain’s potency led it to win the 2008 High Times Cannabis Cup increasing its popularity.[3]
