The finetooth shark, Carcharhinus isodon, is a requiem shark of the family Carcharhinidae, found in the western Atlantic Ocean between latitudes 42° N and 38° S. Its length is up to about 1.9 m.

The finetooth shark is commonly found close inshore, and forms large schools. It feeds on small bony fishes and cephalopods. Reproduction is viviparous (with a yolk-sac placenta), with 1 to 6 young per litter. The size at birth is 51 to 64 cm.
