Jack Hafer is a film producer.[1][2] In 2015 he heads the production company Boulevard Pictures.[3][4] Hafer is also Department Head of the Biola University Cinema & Media Arts Department in Los Angeles, CA.[5][6]

Career

Hafer is the producer of the award-winning feature film, To End All Wars (2001) starring Kiefer Sutherland and Robert Carlyle.[7]TO END ALL WARS"]. Urban Cinefile, It screened at the Cannes Film Festival,[8] won Best Picture at the Heartland Film Festival, was awarded the Commander in Chief Medal of Service, Honor and Pride by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and showcased at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival Cinema for Peace.

Hafer was vice president and general manager of GMT Studios in Culver City, best known for film projects such as L.A. Story, Little Man Tate, Philadelphia Experiment, Predator and Tequila Sunrise.

In 2005, Hafer received a Santa Barbara Award for Excellence in film at the Cinema in Focus Festival.[9]

Hafer recently finished the narrative feature, Not That Funny, starring Emmy Award winner Tony Hale; and in development on several features including James Dean: the Movie, Fallen Earth, and Gideon.

Their[who?] documentary work includes production on Wall of Separation (PBS), Lines That Divide[10] and School's Out - all part of The Culture Wars: A Series.

Hafer is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
