Michael 'Mick' Fuller, APM, is the Commissioner of the NSW Police Force. He replaced Andrew Scipione, AO, APM on 31 March 2017 when Scipione retired.

Career

Fuller joined the New South Wales Police Force in 1987. In 2000 he was promoted to Detective Sergeant, Inspector in 2002 and Superintendent in 2002. For two years he was head of the City of Sydney Local Area Command (LAC), the state's largest LAC. He was appointed Assistant Commissioner in 2010.[1]

It was announced on 30 March 2017 that Fuller would replace Scipione as Commisioner.[2]

Honours and awards

Fuller was awarded the Australian Police Medal in 2009 for distinguished service in policing.[1]
