It is named ununnilium as in 1-1-0-ium: following disagreements as to who could name newly discovered elements it was given a temporary [[IUPAC]] systemic name.

Darmstadtium (formally Ununnilium) is a chemical element, in the periodic table darmstadium has the symbol Uun and atom number 110. It has an atomic weight of 271 making it one of the super-heavy atoms. It is an entirely synthetic element and decays in thousandths of a second. It has never been seen and only a few atoms of it have been created by the fusion of isotopes of lead and nickel in a heavy ion accelerator. Due to its presence in Group 10 it is believed to be metallic and solid.

It was first created on November 9, 1994 at at the Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung (GSI) in Darmstadt, Germany.

Scientists are not always serious, so some suggest the name policium for the new element, because 110 is the telephone number of the German police.
