Template:Sharksportal The smooth tooth blacktip, Carcharhinus leiodon, is a requiem shark of the family Carcharhinidae, found in the western Indian Ocean between latitudes 16° N and 15° N. Its length is up to about 75 cm.
The smooth tooth blacktip shark is known only from the holotype, an immature male, caught in the Gulf of Aden. Reproduction is viviparous.
