Dhritiman Mukherjee is an Indian professional Wild life photographer. He has traveled extensively across India and also abroad in his quest for wild-life photography. He is self taught and had been working in the field of Nature Photography for the past 17 years. He has covered almost all the National Parks and Bio-zones in India.

His works has been well acknowledged and he has been awarded extensively. Some of the awards he won are:

His works are regularly published in National and International print and digital media as BBC, National Geographic, New york Times, Lonely Planet, WWF, London Geographic, Telegraph, The Guardian etc to name a few.[4]

Early life

Born on the New Year's Day of 1975, in Barasat, sub-urban Kolkata, in India, Dhritiman is the youngest of three siblings. His father, Mr. Sadhan Mukherjee and mother had been constant sources of inspiration for Dhritiman since his childhood, so much so that, quite unlikely for his time and upbringing, he was left to himself to choose his career or, rather, follow his passion.[citation needed]
