The Movieguide Awards is an annual cinematic awards ceremony presented by Dr. Ted Baehr's Movieguide Organization. The goal of the ceremony is to award the top inspirational and family friendly movies each year based on the standards of the Movieguide Organization. According to the Movieguide Awards website, "MOVIEGUIDE® is an international family guide to movies and entertainment."[1]
The ceremony is scheduled to take place around the time of the Academy Awards, usually in February[2].
