Paige Harrington (born July 25, 1993) is an American professional ice hockey player. Harrington currently plays for the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), following two seasons with the NWHL's Buffalo Beauts.

Career

College

Following a freshman season at Penn State, Harrington played for University of Massachusetts Amherst with the American Collegiate Hockey Association for three years. Harrington was co-captain of the team during their Eastern Collegiate Women's Hockey League championship in 2015.

Harrington was a member of Team USA in both the 2013 and 2015 Winter World University Games, and was an assistant captain on both national teams. Harrington graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 with a degree in communications.[1]

NWHL

Ahead of the inaugural NWHL season of 2015/16, Harrington signed a professional contract with the Buffalo Beauts to play as a defender.[2][3] Harrington played in all 18 regular season and all five playoff games during the 2015–16 Buffalo Beauts season.[4]

In April 2016, Harrington became the first player to re-sign a contract with the Buffalo Beauts for the 2016/17 NWHL season, signing a $10,000 one-year contract.[5]

On July 12, 2017, Harrington signed with the NWHL's Boston Pride, the team she faced in both the 2016 and 2017 Isobel Cup Final as a member of the Beauts.[6]
