Neela Sandh is in Mori Syedan, Tehsil Kotli Satian, District Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Its almost 40 km away from Pakistan capital city Islamabad. Neela Sandh comprises a series of attractive ponds of crystal clear bluish water along lush green valleys.

Language

As Neela Sandh is in a hilly area. most people speak Pahari, but along with it Urdu and Punjabi languages are also used.

Sources of Income

Their sources of earning include forestry and a bit of farming. Mostly they move toward Islamabad and Rawalpindi region in order to get jobs.

Habitat

As there is no modern technology there they remain traditional and stick with their history and love their land. There are huts after every 4 to 5 kilometers . Climate is good and their houses are mostly sheltered as sometime snow also falls in that region.

Means for transportation

Cars, Vans, Coasters and Motor Bikes are used to travel within the district, and in surrounding areas

Religion and population

Islam is the religion of almost everyone[citation needed] and population in surroundings is about 1000 people.
