Babanusa-Wau Railway is a railway line in the town of Babanusa, Sudan; that connects to South Sudan's second largest city Wau.

The existing line from Sudan is 1,067 mm (3 ft 6 in) gauge, however new lines to Ethiopia and Kenya are to be 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) gauge.

The Uganda Standard Gauge Railway will connect to Rwanda, South Sudan, and to the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway whose construction is already underway. Nimule was selected as potentially being used as future Train station location.^[1]
