Steve Lordigyan (born March 18, 1968), known as Charger Steve is an American collector of classic cars and car's shows organiser. Lordigyan, who is an avid collector of classic, vintage and antique cars also organize several car's shows in Southern California. His biggest event, "The Cajon Classic Cruise" in El Cajon, California is attended by more than 50,000 people every year.

Early life

Lordigyan was born in New York City on March 18, 1968. At the young age, he moved with his family to Paradise Valley, Arizona. In 1999, after graduating in Communication for the Arizona State University, he moved, with his then fiancé Brandy, to San Diego, California and started a company called "Discount Pest Control"[1].

Career

Lordigyan got his nickname from a 1969 Dodge Charger he acquired from a man he met while visiting a client’s house. While his car was being restored, many garage owners found difficult to tell his surname "Lordigyan" and started to identify him simply as "Charger Steve". This was the first vintage car owned by Lordigyan and is one of the few Chargers used in the shooting of the television series, The Dukes of Hazzard. Since then, his collection is just growing. In 2001, he started to organize "The Cajon Classic Cruise" in El Cajon, California. An event that currently gathers more than 50,000 spectators per year. With his raising fame among car enthusiasts, Lordigyan started to organize several cars shows in San Diego County and in several others cities of Southern California. His events are attended by hundreds of thousand of people every year.

Personal life

Since 2004, Lordigyan lives with his wife and his two children, Mercedes and Spencer, in Ramona, California. Lordigyan moved to the city to have more space to accommodate his cars.
