The slender tuna, Allothunnus fallai, is a species of tuna, the only species in the genus Allothunnus, found circumglobally in the southern oceans between latitudes 20° and 50° South. Its length is up to one m.

The slender tuna is the most elongate of the larger tunas. It has low second dorsal and anal fins, small pectoral fins, and a pronounced corselet of scales around the pectoral area. There are more gill rakers on the inside of the first gill arch than any other member of this family.

Coloration is blue-black above and grey-white below.
