Nami Melumad (born December 5) is an Israeli-Dutch film and television composer based in Los Angeles.[1][2] She is best known for her work on the films Miss Arizona, Trico Tri Happy Halloween, Passage, The Big Nothing (TV Series) and more.

Early life and Career

Nami grew up in Ramat Gan, Israel. She attended Blich High School where she majored in Music Composition, Music Performance (Flute) and Chemistry. After high school, she studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and holds a B.Music in Composition.[3] Later she moved to Los Angeles in 2014 and graduated in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television (SMPTV) at University of Southern California.[4]

Nami was one of the 12 composers around the world to make the cut for acclaimed ASCAP 2016 film scoring workshop.[5] In May 2017 her work "New Zealand's Guide To Tessering" was performed by the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra.[6] As an orchestrator, she worked on The Little Mermaid (2018 film) and Everybody (Logic album).[7]
