Madeline Kathryn Brewer[2] (born 1 May 1992)[1][3] is an American actress who has appeared in the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black and Hemlock Grove,[4][5] the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale, and the Netflix horror film Cam.

Early life

Brewer grew up in Pitman, New Jersey, the daughter of Laurie and Mark Brewer, who is an actor and musician.[6] She is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.[7] Brewer was crowned Miss Pitman in high school in 2010.[8]

Career

Brewer began her career after portraying Tricia Miller in the original Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. In 2016, she appeared in "Men Against Fire", an episode of the anthology series Black Mirror.[9]
