As I am slowly getting brought into this discussion, I will reply to all the points on my homepage. It would help if you could leave any comments for me on my talk page, and maybe most of the comments for BooyakaDell. I have asked the same of the BooyakaDell. Of course only do this if you are happy for me to help mediate. Cheers [[User:Lethaniol|Lethaniol]] 16:33, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

::::Get it through your head that I'm not JB196 and just maybe then we can have even a chance of putting this behind, but until then it's not very easy.[[User:BooyakaDell|BooyakaDell]] 05:23, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Revision as of 05:24, 9 December 2006

I'll be watching this page very carefully, and any abuse will be removed (subject to Wikipedia rules of course). I will also be removing additions that do not include the ID tag at the end and ignoring their content. Curse of Fenric 08:48, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AFL Wiki Project

Thanks for that invite, Antonius. I'll act on it once I start the hard work I have planned - which should be in October. Curse of Fenric 12:46, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DVD Releases and associated stuff

I'm not going to have a go at you. I'm sorry for upseting you but I was 100% positive it was relevent but I was overruled. My Bad and I'm sorry for being an ass and returning it. User:WackadooXanadu

Hey. Thanks for letting me know about this. First off, the user that added those DVD releases has been pestering me for the last 5 months and has been confirmed as a sockpuppet (not sure how new you are here but I'm sure you can find out the regulations on it) and has been blocked every time for it so if it happens again let me know about it. From what I've just looked at it doesn't seem blatantly obvious as to whether it is this same user or not but I'll continue to look into it. Also, awesome user page! Looks almost like mine! Just out of interest is it based around mine? I noticed you are a Aussie rules fan. Did you watch the Grand Final? It was a truely classic game. Normy132 09:05, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I did and a report on the game is on my website forum. A definite classic in no uncertain terms! Curse of Fenric 12:46, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I just remembered I'm going on a wikibreak for a few months because of exams and camp. I've talked to User:Moe Epsilon (who was involved in this issue at the beginning) as to possibly helping you out but I won't be in touch with him because of my wikibreak. Keep in touch with him. Thanks. Normy132 10:05, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I will of course watch out over WackadooXanadu, but I am reporting this at WP:AN/I. This user has had several accounts before and has used them improperly and for that, was indefinantly blocked from Wikipedia. If he (yes, it's a he) is not blocked after the report, I will keep an eye on him. — Moe Epsilon 14:46 October 01 '06

Response

Through all this, I've been going through all the histories of all the accused Sockpuppets and all the archives of those involved (that I can find). Also using some off-wiki sources I have discovered that OzWrestlemaniac and 3Brands are no one I know. They belonged to the IP Adress regestered to Oz-DX! But I come through another. User:WrestlingGod (who was also accused) also has nothing to do the people "you" are having problems with. I hope this problem is over and I will take your suggestions under advisement. User Page

I have just revamped and expanded my user page and divided up the user boxes. Hopefully I will soon be creating a template with upcoming personal happenings on it, and I have some ideas on some more user boxes while I'm about it. Enjoy! Curse of Fenric 22:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Ah, I remember that one. I left the last edit on Wild On! because I couldn't verify that last edit and I AGF'ed. I'm not sure it's the same person, but it could be. When I ran into him, he was a vulgar/page blanking vandal, not a web page inserting type. The IP appears to be from a dynamic pool with Telstra, so it's possible that two different people got the same address. -- Gogo Dodo 21:39, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Ah, I'm sorry. I thought you meant that you thought the same person who vandalized the Wild On! was the same person who was inserting the links on Professional wrestling in Australia. It's the same IP address, but I was trying to say that I didn't think it was the same person. Just coincidental. I do agree that there is a pattern of inserting and reinserting links into the wrestling page and it probably is the same person or perhaps two people, but probably not the same person as the Wild On! vandal. I know next to zero about wrestling in Adelaide, but you appear to have everything covered. =) -- Gogo Dodo 07:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pro Wrestling

You REALLY need to chill out and take a deep breath on these Pro Wrestling in Australia articles. Just because they had AJ Styles vs. James Gibson or because they used the Taboo Tuesday concept does not make them notable enough to have a Wikipedia article.BooyakaDell 20:28, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reiterating my previous message

Hi, you really do need to calm down regarding these wrestling promotion articles. Your standards for notability and importance are not in line with the Wikipedia standards for notability and importance. You also do not understand the concept that nominating an article for deletion and questioning an article's notability and importance are two different things.BooyakaDell 02:06, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Although I still respectfully disagree with you, I will give you the benefit of the doubt on the articles with the exception of Action Zone Wrestling, as I still fail to see how that promotion is notable enough to warrant an entry.BooyakaDell 02:15, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Notability in your recent edits

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. BooyakaDell 03:07, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This will be ignored until such time as the investigation is completed. I expect to be exonerated, and when I am this will be deleted. Curse of Fenric 06:55, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

I created a request at the WP:ANI Administrators Noticeboard/Incidents page about User:BooyakaDell and his possible link to User:JB196 Thanks :) SirFozzie 14:52, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Abuse deleted - investigation in progress as indicated above. Curse of Fenric 21:15, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Backyard Feds

On Pro Wrestling in Oz, if a promotion is performing shows to an audience, they should be included.

If advertising is against Wiki-polocy, is not haveing the times of a breech? Is the Main Event page a breech? Is not the WWE Programs Page a breech? I was wondering, if ur going to delete it off one page, do you intend to delete all times form every page in wikipedia? 121.208.48.225 12:45, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If a promotion is not a professional promotion - that is, a proper venue, a proper ring and proper attitude - then it is not to be included on the page. Advertising of live shows is against Wiki policy. Advertising of notable items is not. How do we know if an event is notable until after the fact? Anyway, if there are any notes to be made about local shows, you should create an article for that individual promotion. Then you would have more flexibility than you have on this page. Concerning BooyakaDell

Hi Curse of Fenric,

As I am slowly getting brought into this discussion, I will reply to all the points on my homepage. It would help if you could leave any comments for me on my talk page, and maybe most of the comments for BooyakaDell. I have asked the same of the BooyakaDell. Of course only do this if you are happy for me to help mediate. Cheers Lethaniol 16:33, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry man

But apparently, Booyaka/JB has an admin snowed and he's going around tagging and nominating all the articles for deletion. So.. the vandal's won. I'm out. (on Wikibreak) SirFozzie 05:09, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
