India Vs England is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language Romantic Thriller film directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar and produced by Y.N.Shankaregowda. Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, popularly known as Maestre finally manages to come up with a catchy title for the film starring Vasishta Simha[2] and Manvitha Harish.[3] The title, India v/s England, was unveiled on Saturday at a grand event in London.

Plot

The title - India vs England, also has an interesting tag line, which says — but not cricket!. The film features Vasishta as a British born NRI, and actors Anant Nag[5] and Sumalatha[6] in pivotal roles. The music is scored by Arjun Janya[7] and cinematographers Will Price and Satya Hegde are in charge of cinematography. The film, produced by YN Shankare Gowda,[8] also has a couple of director's friends, including NRIs investing in the project.

50% of the film is shot in the U.K. Four songs of the film are shot in the picturesque locations of London, Cardiff and Wales in the U.K. An aide-memoire of British rule in India; shot in historical places of India such as Amritsar, Jhansi, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kittur. The film also features the Wagah Border Beating Retreat Ceremony and the Andaman Cellular Jail. The film possesses thrilling deceit, betrayal and intriguing action sequences. It boasts of a one-of-its-kind fight sequence on a boat in the middle of the sea composed by the action director – Ravivarma .[9]
