New City Church is a multi-site church in Charlotte, NC.[1] The church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America[2] denomination. New City has three campuses, one in the SouthPark area of Charlotte[3], one on Monroe Road in Matthews, NC,[4] and one in the Idlewild neighborhood of Charlotte.[5] Weekend services are held on Saturday evenings at SouthPark and on Sunday mornings at all three locations. The church’s purpose statement is “to be a community of Christ followers bringing gospel renewal to our city and world.” [6] Weekend services on both campuses average about 3,000 attendees.[7]
