Eyal Gruner is an entrepreneur from Israel. He is the co-founder of cyber security company, Cynet.[1][2]

Life

Avivah Litan, the Vice President of Gartner, called Gruner a “boy security wonder” when, at the age of 15, he hacked into Bank Leumi where he had an account and exposed their security vulnerabilities, and approached the bank to demonstrate the weaknesses and improve on them.[3] He joined the security team of the bank for a year and later joined Aladdin Knowledge Systems.

Gruner identified and reported vulnerabilities in Google security systems and was recognized with a Google Security Reward and inclusion in Google’s Hall of Fame. In 2005, he founded a security company, BugSec and later, Versafe.[4] In 2013, F5 Networks acquired Versafe.[1] He has investments in Cycode and Cymulate.[5]

In 2015, he co-founded Cynet with Netanel Amar.[2]
