Samantha Marie Ware (born September 3, 1991), also known by her stage name Sameya[2][3] is an American actress and singer. Ware is best known for portraying Jane Hayward in the sixth season of Glee,[1] as well as Angela Archer in the Netflix series What/If.[4] Ware also played Lily in Nike's web series Margot vs. Lily[5] and has had guest roles on Chicago Med, Bull, and God Friended Me.[6][7]

Early life

Hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, Ware started her acting career while attending a liberal arts college at the age of 19. She started acting in theater productions, being cast in a Las Vegas production of The Lion King and later in The Book of Mormon. She earned Helen Hayes Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2014 for her role in the latter.[1]

Personal life

In 2019, Ware publicly accused Glee co-star Lea Michele of misconduct on the set.[8][9][10]
