Denys Favorov (Ukrainian: Денис Володимирович Фаворов; born 1 April 1991) is a Ukrainian professional football midfielder who plays for FC Desna Chernihiv.
Career
Favorov is a product of the different Kyivan youth sportive school systems. His first trainers were Oleksandr Leonidov and O. Ostrovskyi (in FC Dynamo Kyiv). He spent his career as a player in a lower Ukrainian football leagues.
Cherkaskyi Dnipro
In 2014 he played for Cherkaskyi Dnipro.Here he won the Ukrainian Second League in the season 2014–15.[1]
FC Desna Chernihiv
In March 2016 he signed a contract with Desna Chernihiv in the Ukrainian First League[2]. With the club of Chernihiv he won the Ukrainian First League: 2017–18[3]. The captain Denys Favorov was also elected Best Player Ukrainian First League in the season 2017–18[4]. During the play off for the Ukrainian First League in the season season 2019–20 during the Championship round table, on the 20th may 2020, he scored a penalty away against FC Kolos Kovalivka[5].The 6 June 2020 he scored a penalty against Shakhtar Donetsk[6]. The 21 July 2020 during the match against Zorya Luhansk, he scored a penalty[7]. The 5 of July 2020 during the match against FC Kolos Kovalivka he scored two goals, in particular the second one was amazing long-range shot and he has been elected best player of the round 29[8][9].
Personal life
His younger brother Artem Favorov is also a professional football player[10].
