What is written in this article I think is from a neutral perspective, but their is a lack of information based on the fact that truly nothing is written about any of the women that are listed in the article. It is mainly basic facts of their names, what field of study they were a part of, and what dates they were a part of the NIMR. All of the citations that are included do seem to be legitimate, however, a lot of them are just news articles. The article 'covers' a lot of information that is missing in our more modern history but there isn't any actual information, it is mainly just lists and basic facts about the women involved.

Margaret E. Knight

Article Evaluation

The article hold the basic information and gives her credit and informs it all with a neutral tone. It disregards any backlash or societal discrimination she received for being a woman who invented. I think the article does portray it as something 'easy' and she was just able to engineer these inventions that changed the everyday workforce. She wasn't recognized for any of the work she did until after she died. There overall is just little information about a woman who revolutionized so many things!

It talks about her work with people and doesn't really acknowledge all the work she actually did. Or the fact that she was completely dismissed due to her sex.
