Above users have all been Single Purpose Accounts when it comes to Wikipedia, editing nearly exclusively on Little Green Footballs and the closely related Charles Foster Johnson.

LGOutcast was the first, where he started by vandalizing the Charles Foster Johnson page [1]. Immediately after he got blocked, LittleGreenVolleyball and 98.194.194.45 began editing in unison, trying to get Charles Foster Johnson merged into Little Green Footballs[2][3]. LittleGreenVolleyball was blocked as a sock of LGOutcast per the duck test, 98.194 was blocked for a month (the block expired January 19th, 2009).

98.194 showed evidence of being an experienced wikipedian. He was able to track down the administrator who performed the block on LGOutcast as his very first edit, knew enough about Wikipedia to get a merge proposed on a full protected article[4], and used wikipedia slang such as "mop" to refer to the administrator tools[5].

Lizard1000 made a pair of non-NPOV edits to Little Green Footballs, and was blocked via Duck test.

Koskidzrules1 has recently arrived, and he is performing similar edits. While his are less blatantly non-NPOV than the others have been, the effect is the same - to try and put negatively-slanted information about the Little Green Footballs blog in the article.

Aside from the behavior similarities mentioned, the usernames are following a very similar pattern. LGOutcast, LittleGreenVolleyballs and Lizard1000 are all LGF-centric usernames (LGF posters frequently refer to themselves as "Lizards"). Koskidzrules1 is of course named after Daily KOS, basically a blog with which LGF has an ongoing rivalry.

I made this SPI as several have been blocked, and I think it would be a good idea to see if they're actually coming from the same place, and if they can be stopped from the source.

Current status – Completed: Reviewed by a Checkuser, results and comments are below. - Request was for a checkuser to look and see if the latest edits from Koskidzrules1 is originating from the same IP that had its block expire a couple weeks back.
