South Pointe Park is a 17-acre urban park in Miami Beach, Florida in the SoFi (South of Fifth) neighborhood of South Beach. The park underwent a major renovation in 2009. Hargreaves Associates, of New York City, was hired to design and update this bayfront park at a cost of around $22 million. It also one of the largest urban parks in Miami Beach. The park has a restaurant, as well as various kids parks, dog areas, and water features. South Pointe Park is the southernmost point of South Beach and goes along Government Cut with great views of Biscayne Bay, Fisher Island, Downtown Miami, and the Atlantic Ocean. It is the main park in the SoFi neighborhood, South Beach's most expensive neighborhood, with many high-rise luxury apartment buildings.
