The Telegraph in Schools (TTIS) is student-run newspaper in India.TTIS was launched in 1999 and re-launched in July 2003.[1][2]
Great TTIS Challenge
The great TTIS Challenge is currently going on.It is a type of stage entertainment."Skill, talent, competition, enjoyment and loads of fun" is it's motto.It is organized by TTIS every year.[3]
Issues
Every week a new issue is published. Some issues include-
- "If wishes were on horses" published in December 2010.
- "Durga Puja" published in October 2010.
- "Jagadish Chandra Bose" published in March 2011.
- "Children Worship Mother Goddess" published in October 2011.[4]
Sections
There are various sections in the newspaper.Some include-
- "Open Forum" A place where readers can send there opinion about various issues and problems.
- "Puzzle Time" A place where there are lots of activities for children to do.
- "Centre Spread" A big poster of a famous person or incident.
- "Movie Time" Reviews of different movies and lyrics of songs.
- "Cover story" More facts about the issue.
