Linguistic
Where exactly? I read the anthropology section and it doesn't mention anything at all about "Iranian" being a linguistic term. Please provide a quote because I did not find any such reference in the article. SouthernComfort 00:58, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, that is fair enough, but look at what else it says: The type of the latter varies visibly from place to place. It is probable that the expansion of the Kurd element took place from east (Western Persia) to west (Central Kurdist§n) but there is nothing to have prevented the existence in Central Kurdist§n, before the coming of the Kurds, of a nationality of different origin but bearing a similar name (|ardå) which later amalgamated with the Iranian Kurds. This means that Kurds are not ethnically homogenous - that is, there are differences between Kurds of Iraq and Iran and Turkey and Syria. This should be in the article as well. SouthernComfort 01:06, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Done. --Khoikhoi 01:12, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Diyako/Xebat, may I ask you where you are from? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but if you've ever been to Iran then you'd see that when most people use the word over there, they're talking about the ancient Iranian tribes. --Khoikhoi 03:46, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- These people living in 2006 are descendents of the Aryans. That's why it matters. --Khoikhoi 03:57, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Please read the source(s) carefully - it disagrees with you completely. And please do not type in all caps, that is known as "shouting." SouthernComfort 05:14, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Why are you leaving the same message on my talk over and over again? Please stop. SouthernComfort 05:16, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
I've explained these definitions over and over again, quite a number of times. You can review the talk page if you wish more detail. SouthernComfort 06:27, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Please see WP:V. SouthernComfort 06:52, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- I am afraid you are mistaken - it mentions other Iranian groups as well. The second one is as clear as crystal regarding this matter. You have no cause to dispute. SouthernComfort 06:56, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Why should I answer when I have already answered your queries countless times before? Do you think that this is a game, or that I am here to teach or lecture you? Please. SouthernComfort 06:57, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Go read the first part of the article yourself. SouthernComfort 06:59, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Not true. Read again very carefully. Kurds are an Iranian ethnolinguistic group like the Persians, Lurs, Bakhtiar. SouthernComfort 07:05, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, the Persians, Lurs, etc. are also being described as an Iranian ethnolinguistic group. SouthernComfort 07:13, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Regarding the warning
- 1- You can't just give "last warning", you have to start from the begining!
- 2- Correct spelling comes useful when you want to sound Authorative, e.g. "removing" not "removin"
- 3- You can't use two accounts at the same time, you should merge them. Try Wikipedia:Changing username
- 4- You should sign your 'warnings'.
ps. Hey, I asked what your new name means! --Kash 04:48, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Iranian peoples
Watch out for 3RR. AucamanTalk 05:20, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
They have not the right for removing the tag while are inserting incorrect info. Xebat Talk + 05:21, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- I just accidentally stumbled upon this edit war, but I have to say the four tags you've placed on this article appear to serve only to undermine the validity of the article in order to make a point. That can easily be considered vandalism, as can WP:3RR, no matter who is right and who is wrong. I urge you to remove at least three of your tags, leaving perhaps "the facutality of this article is disputed," and please have a mature discussion about your dispute rather than simply spitting on the article. AmiDaniel (Talk) 06:45, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- They constantly keep removing tags. so that now although the article is totally wrong but I'm afraid of 3RR to add it again. I want to add the tag but don't know really what to do. Xebat Talk + 06:48, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's perfectly legitimate to leave one tag, such as {{totallydisputed}}, on the article if you disagree with aspects of the article--that is until one side of the dispute has gained a clear consensus. The problem here is that posting four redundant tags appeared nothing more than a blatant attack on the article and its editors. Anyone coming to read about Iranian People would see those tags and go running the other direction, convinced that the article had absolutely nothing to offer. In looking over the talk page, no one is really presenting any clear arguments about what they find wrong in the article, just one side saying, "the article sucks," and the other saying, "the article is wonderful!" I in no way want to take sides on this issue, but I feel the issue should be discussed. Therefore, to prevent you from being targeted for 3RR, I will add the 'totallydisputed' tag to the article for you, given that you stop adding ridiculous and degrading tags to the article and that you have a mature discussion and explain what you disagree with--that is, if you want me to. AmiDaniel (Talk) 07:00, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- They constantly keep removing tags. so that now although the article is totally wrong but I'm afraid of 3RR to add it again. I want to add the tag but don't know really what to do. Xebat Talk + 06:48, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind. I see you've added a reasonable tag to the article. If they keep removing it, just let it go, discuss it on the talk page, or, if necessary, seek mediation. AmiDaniel (Talk) 07:04, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
It is a long time that i've been sitting behind the computer and discussing But really they push their personal POV. This is my link http://www.encyclopediaofukraine.com/pages/I/R/Iranianpeoples.htm and the other one is their link, their link does not describe Iranians but Kurds. But they say no, no, no, it is clear without explaining. they only say the link is clear. while it is totally irrelevant. Xebat Talk + 07:08, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- I really don't want to get involved with the actual content dispute, just so long as the dispute is being discussed thoroughly and fairly. The only advice I'll give you is to try and reach a compromise, rather than refusing everything but your own opinion. Unfortunately, if every other editor disagrees with you entirely, you will not be allowed to include any of your opinions in the article; however, there may be some common ground where both you can express your opinions in the article, and they can express theirs. Once a consensus has been reached, however, it really is common courtesy to concede and stop pushing the issue. Please try to be civil in your arguments. AmiDaniel (Talk) 07:20, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Sockpuppets
If you have any sockpuppet suspicions, I suggest you report them to Wikipedia:Requests for CheckUser. There you can set the record straight. --Khoikhoi 05:42, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
The Persians, Lurs, etc. are also being described as an Iranian ethnolinguistic group
- Then claim that they are several ethnic groups not an ethnolinguistic. Xebat Talk + 07:16, 27 March 2006 (UTC) group.
- Khoikhoi is completely correct. It is innapropriate to place a sockpuppet template on someone else's page without corroborating evidence (and don't try to point me to any; until that checkuser gets back, I know for a fact you have none). Yes, you do have the right to ask for a checkuser, but you do NOT have the right to start slapping sockpuppet templates on user's pages while you are waiting for the results, nor do you have any right to make those sorts of accusations in the meantime, either. Not only that, but I can say with a good amount of confidence that those checkuser requests are going to come back negative. Additionally, test templates are used for warning new users about simple vandalism. Using it when you disagree in a content dispute is wholly innapropriate. Additionally, I do not know why you did this, but needless to say, it's considered spam. Stay calm, stay civil, and focus on article content, or you will be blocked for harrassment. --InShaneee 20:33, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Block me?! I'm really starting to no longer believe in wikipedia. For several months those people are playing me no body cares, no body pays attention. they make big claims, with NO source supporting them, when I provide encyclopedic and academic sources which directly discuss the matter my references are ignored, removed and reverted in the name of vandalism one after one, one after one. But I don't wonder if I be blocked. While the article is wrong there is no dispute tag!! anon biased users removed it. Khoikhoi and Southern comfort and some other users are POV pusher. They play with people. they are 100000 kilometers far from neutrality and reality. they redifine everything. every therm. Khoikhoi who claims is from soth Africa is so confident about his POVs regarding Kurdish and Iranian issues which simply rejects every academic reference which is gainst his holy POV. This is his pure POV and his friends pure POV which say the last word. It is so unnaceptable for a website which once be a source for information not personal POV. Xebat Talk + 20:51, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I did that because I thought he was asleep or ***, *** something alse, The reference clearly does not say that, but he and his pov pusher friends ignore me and revert it. when ask admins they do no reaction. Only say This is your own problem.
- I really suspect are not they the same admins???? Xebat Talk + 21:00, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Any way I'm proud that i did not let khoikho become an admin. because i prevented a wikipedian catastroph a tsunami. I'm proud for that. I feel myself a hero.Xebat Talk + 21:02, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- This Khoikhoi is so row that in the begining of that debbate when I disputd the matter, his first replies to me was because I'm a Kurdish I dispute that matter, so that he made all Iranian users against the neutral versions suggested by me and supported by my references. 3RR violation at Iranian peoples
Hi, you violated the three-revert rule on Iranian peoples. I have disabled your editing permissions for 24 hours. Please read our guide on dispute resolution during the time you are unable to contribute to Wikipedia. Feel free to return after your block expires, but take your differences to the talk page and please refrain from edit warring. Cheers, —Ruud 12:57, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Mutual aid
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Hurriyya_notice_board
I have set up a notice board to give collective support to those facing racism, nationalist bigotry and group intimidation while editing articles related to Middle Eastern issues. There are a growing number of people who are coming across the same problems with the same users, but are outnumbered and over-ruled. It is plain and simple bullying. They are being turned off Wikipedia because of this behaviour. I hope that we can all support each other.
The title is "Hurriyya", which means "freedom".--Ahwaz 17:54, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

- Yes. Sure I support it. It is interesting that since several months ago I wanted to send the same message to you! I'm sure that there are many many neutral wikipedians across the world who will help us. Xebat Talk + 17:58, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Noticeboard
Hello Xebat.
So you got rebaptized? Good, I prefer people who struggle rather than kings! As I stated in the discussion I have some reservations to the current proposed noticeboard. Honestly, I didnt really have the energy to rewrite it...and it seems that it is going to be deleted...
Maybe you should consider creating a notice board build up on the same structure as the Iranian's: listing to do's, issues that deserve attention and not relating it to the problems we all meet when dealing with sensitive issues..Kolay gelsin - Bra arbetslust. Bertilvidet 19:36, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Jaså to which part of my comments? Glad to hear that you agree with my criticism! Bertilvidet 20:15, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for that comment...and as you noticed, I couldnt help rewriting a part of the page after you did an important spadework! Bertilvidet 20:30, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Your edit was important. It is true that I do not see and know negative parts of all things. Your edits are great! Xebat Talk + 20:34, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
baisahab erase madkaro
ye kya bakvas chiz hai please read some of these Punjabi people, Maratha, or sindhi
then read Indo-Aryans :are the ethno-linguistic descendents of the Indic branch of the Indo-Iranians Its ethnic when it goes there but its otherwise when it comes to Indo-Iranians ...suggesting then that Kurds are not Iranian and Indic whitin that greater classification ...bravo and stop erasing --130.233.130.42 13:06, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- I could not understand exactly what you mean. can you please clarify it more?Xebat Talk + 13:44, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Removing other user's comments
This is not appropriate, and you have been warned about this before. You cannot simply remove comments by other users from a disscussion page. If you continue this disruptive behavior, you will be blocked. --InShaneee 15:10, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- These Iranis lie. The same as their imam and their president. It was an edit conflict and I don't know how old are you that they can so simply trick you. I know who are Iranians!Xebat Talk + 15:16, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- You have been blocked for one week for continued personal attacks and incivility, namely the above comment. The length of your block is due to the fact that this is not your first time being disruptive here, under this name or your old username. You must be respectful twords other editors; there are no exceptions and no excuses. If you return after your block has expired, please try to be more mindful of wikipedia policy. --InShaneee 20:27, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
You are a child or teenager and do not deserve to be an admin on this childish forum wikipedia. There are some Irani terrorists vandalising this forum and no one cares. These are pasdar terrorists and I am glad that soon their country will be bombed and divided into several free countries. I'm very happy for that :) Viva Freedom!. Xebat Talk + 08:46, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- Just so you know, I've now extended your block for a period of one month, and it can be extended further (indefinatly, if neccisary) if you will not act civilly. The above comment is a blantant personal attack on myself, several users, and an entire nation. This is completely unnacceptable behavior on wikipedia. If you want to return and continue to edit, you must be respecful of other users and wikipedia policy. --InShaneee 18:48, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I cannot stop laughing at you and you irani friends!! and I'm not sorry for what I said. I am very glad.
Is the Kurdish name of the city Diyarbakir not Amed??? Someone changed it from Amed to Diyarbekir. Could you as a native Kurdish speaker have a look at it? Bertilvidet 20:14, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- So, it seems to be fixed now ;-) Bertilvidet 20:27, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
