Supporters of Chick-Fil-A lined up in Port Charlotte, Florida to patronize the local franchise on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day

Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day was a protest in the United States created by Mike Huckabee in response to criticism of Chick-Fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy's support for "traditional marriage". The event took place on August 1, 2012, with over over 630,000 people signing up.[1][2][3]
