Cohen founded SoJewish which was at the time Britain's first online community portal and later CyberBritain. He was the focus of the BBC fly-on-the-wall documentary "Trouble at the Top". "When I look back at the way that I was in that documentary I cringe" said Cohen. "I can remember how rude I could be at times to journalists and people phoning up for advice. Back then, I could be as obnoxious as I liked and people would still come back for more."

He was "the youngest-ever UK director of a publicly quoted company" when SoJewish reversed into Totally plc [1].

He also spent time running a website designed to help people search for pornographic materials on the internet.

He writes "dot.com millionaire's diary" for The Times, a reference to his label in the 1990s describing him, inaccurately,[2]as the UK's first teenage dot.com millionaire.

In 2005, Cohen took Apple Computer to the High Court in London over the ownership of the domain itunes.co.uk. Cohen lost the case, with the domain being transferred to Apple by Nominet. Later in 2005, the Times reported that he was suffering from "two lesions on the right hand side of his brain".

Since June 2005, he has been editor of Pink News and in print in a number of publications including 3Sixty and QX International in the UK.
