Biography

Zerase is a mysterious sorceress of regal bearing. Very little is known about her, however, she is very knowledgeable about the three runes of Falena, as well as the Night Rune. She initially meets the prince of Falena at the East Palace with Lymsleia and Sialeeds, chastizing them about the missing Dawn Rune.

When the prince of Falena finds the Dawn Rune and it chooses him as successor, Zerase tells him he should work on being a worthy successor to the rune.

When the Sindar Ruins reveal themselves from Lake Ceras, Zerase joins with the prince. She decides to help him in his quests, but she will give him no knowledge regarding the runes until the time is right.

Zerase is usually in a foul mood, and passive. However, when the Godwins begin to use the Twilight Rune, she shows an invigorated zeal, demanding to accompany the prince to Doraat where it was used. She takes great offense when Alenia cannot use the rune properly, and is eager to fight her both in Doraat and in the Queen's Campaign. During the siege of Stormfist, Zerase is actually a bit frightened, because the new bearer of the Twilight Rune can use the rune to great effect. The bearer is Sialeeds, and, although Zerase demands that she use the rune properly, Sialeeds is powerful enough to bring things to a standstill.

After the war, Zerase departs the company of the prince and is not heard from again.
