Peter Worrell (born November 1, 1977 in Pierrefonds, Quebec, Canada) is a professional ice hockey player.

During his junior hockey career, Worrell played for the Hull Olympiques, being part of the 1997 Memorial Cup winning team and collecting close to 1200 penalty minutes in his three seasons with the team.

Worrell was selected by the Florida Panthers 166th overall in the 7th round at the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. On July 18th, 2003 he was traded from the Florida Panthers along with a 2nd Round pick in the 2004 draft to Colorado Avalanche for Eric Messier and Vaclav Nedorost. Currently, he plays for the minor league Charlotte Checkers (ECHL).

Worrell has had run-ins with the law. Twice he has been convicted of drunken driving. In June 2002, he was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief for kicking a police car's window. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. In December 2004, he was pulled over by police in Pompano Beach, Florida because of expired tags. Worrell continued to identify himself to the officer as Andreas Lilja, a former teammate. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest without violence, both misdemeanors.
