1mg, previously called HealthKart, is an Indian E-pharmacy. Prashant Tandon is the founder-CEO of 1mg.[1][2]The other founders of the company included Gaurav Agarwal and Vikas Chauhan. The company was one of the two websites that was analysed for the book India Public Finance and Policy Report:Health Matters edited by Sugata Marjit and others.[3][4]Other E-pharmacies of the country include Netmeds, Medplus & Pharmeasy.[5]

Confederation of All India Traders alleged that 1mg and others were violating the Indian Drugs and Cosmetics Act in March 2021. Also, the company was alleged for predatory pricing to hurt the brick and mortar retailers and distributors for medicine.[6] Before this, the company also experienced a ban from Delhi High Court in 2018[7][8]
