American, novice in Spanish and learning German.

Big interest in astrophysics, with some half-decent knowledge in history, particularly labor movements and wars. I am a card-carrying democratic socialist, and as I get further into my education, I hope to contribute more to wikipedia.

I dont measure an ideology's peacefulness by its willingness not to kill people so long as they surrender to it. The implicit threat behind that idea destroys any pretence of peacefulness. People come first. And when ideas threaten people, it only provides further support for the essentail human activity of attacking ideas. — TheraminTrees
