Restored mention of "Ham", with reservations. Occurred to me to check the GNIS; the shortened form of the name does show up there, and presumably the government surveyors did not fabricate it out of whole cloth. I could find no other use of it, however, and relatives of mine of ranging in age from 50 to 90, born and raised in Amelia County, have never heard of it. -- [[Special:Contributions/2603:6081:8004:DD5:6451:2AC4:EB73:1BE|2603:6081:8004:DD5:6451:2AC4:EB73:1BE]] ([[User talk:2603:6081:8004:DD5:6451:2AC4:EB73:1BE|talk]]) 22:08, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
