Facts

1. Tin Shui Wai = Tin Shui Wai New Town. The whole area of Tin Shui Wai is developed as the New Town. 2. The whole of Fish Pond in Tin Shui Wai is now a part of the New Town. 3. People refer the New Town as Tin Shui Wai. 4. Unlike Tsuen Wan New Town, consisted of Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi and Kwai Chung, Tin Shui Wai New Town is only consisted of Tin Shui Wai. 5. Tin Shui Wai is still a part of Yuen Long (District). The Yuen Long District/Yuen Long articles, already covers relevant histroical information.

Therefore, I will combine the article Tin Shui Wai and Tin Shui Wai New Town into one article. Thanks for the attention!

Due to this overlap, I have merged the two articles. Citobun (talk) 09:28, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Should the history section of this article be expanded to cover the namesake village and gei wai ponds before new town development? "Tin Shui Wai" was marked in some older maps before new town development in the late 1980s and early 1990s, in reference to the village and the ponds around them. There's probably sufficient materials to support separate articles as the Cantonese and Chinese versions suggest but that takes time for editors here to work on. 219.76.24.208 (talk) 09:20, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
