What kind of proof do you need? The band clearly exists and has a steady underground following. The have released an (maybe two) on a label and have been featured on minor websites/magazines. [1] [2] [3] --Beyondthepermafrost (talk) 07:02, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved. Being the only article with the exact name is not proof that an article is the primary use. We already have links to the 2009 film, so it is likely that the film will be getting an article. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:11, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Vektor → Vektor (thrash metal band) — "Vektor" is not unique to this band, and there are arguably better-known examples, including the South African arms manufacturer. I tried to move it, but copy-pasted and got it a bit wrong. ;-) This needs to be moved, and replaced with a redirect to the disambiguation page. Torak (talk) 17:45, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose. There's no other article on WP using only this name and there's no disambiguation page. The arms manufacturer appears to be a division of Denel; if it is in fact sometimes called simply Vektor, all we would need is a hatnote on this article. Station1 (talk) 19:44, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Support the WP:PRIMARYUSAGE of "Vektor" is in dispute, since a simple google or google image search turns up a lot of guns, in relation to other things that are not Vektor small arms. A dab page seems like a good idea. 70.29.212.131 (talk) 03:32, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- Vektor (disambiguation) exists now. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

what the hell..
I've edited the page so it would be more neutral ("The band strives to employ an array of intricacy, virtuosity and unique sounds in an attempt to set themselves apart from most other thrash bands" - huh??) and have more references, AND added their newly announced LP for november 15th 2011, then it was all deleted and returned to the original problematic article. why? this is quite irritating.
removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV
I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:26, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Progressive thrash metal
That genre is unsourced. Though it is indeed real subgenre, no sources have said Vektor played in it. And having as the lead makes it worst. It gives people a bad impression of the band. ~SML • TP 20:24, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
@Sixty Minute Limit: In addition to the source I added from Blabbermouth, Vektor is listed on the prog archives. GhostOfDanGurney (talk) 15:10, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
- Prog Archives isn’t reliable. ~SML • TP 23:12, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
@Sixty Minute Limit: But Blabbermouth is, and it indeed calls the band "progressive, sci-fi themed metallers." You can stop reverting me now. GhostOfDanGurney (talk) 11:54, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Domestic abuse allegations against frontman
In June 2019, David DiSanto's wife, Katy DiSanto, came forward on social media accusing David of routine, long-term domestic abuse and violence. Katy detailed multiple instances of alcoholism-inspired incidents and abusive acts, which included one episode in Salt Lake City of him sexually assaulting her then locking her in a basement, and another in San Antonio where he strangled her in a hotel room, prompting neighboring lodgers to contact police. To corroborate herself, she supplied a video of David yelling at her and appearing to throw her on a bed, with a caption stating he did not want to clean up after his dog after it soiled inside the house;[1] she also posted photos of damage of their house's interior that was attributed to David. Through the Philadelphia legal system, Katy has earned a Protection from Abuse Order (PFA) against David.[2][3]
I won't include this on the official page until there is a conviction, per WP:BLPCRIME, but this is something that I want to put a bookmark for until this is found true in court. LuvataciousSkull (talk) 21:01, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
