MQL5.community, also known as MQL5 Community, is a resource launched by MetaQuotes in 2010 for traders and developers involved in algorithmic trading.[1] The site provides access to a number of services used in conjunction with the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading platforms. Among them is the store of ready-made applications for the platforms, for example, signals used for copy trading[2]. MQL5.community also offers quotes containing data on futures, financial and stock markets, as well as tools for monitoring exchanges and liquidity providers.

History

MQL5.community presented copy trading option through signal providers for MetaTrader 5[3] in the October 2012. Later, at the end of the month Trading Signals became available also for MetaTrader 4 users.[4]

In January 2013, users of the MetaTrader 5 for iPhones has been introduced with the secure chat function using the MQL5.community's MetaQuotes ID accounts.[5]
