Dakota Redd Storm Mehus, known professionally as Redd Tyndall, is an American cartoonist, musician, and producer, known as the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitar player for the indie rock band, The Dumpster Stoners, and the co-creator of the sketch comedy show, Bad Greens. He currently resides in New Gloucester, Maine.
His older brother is Dave R. May, who is a filmmaker, Special Olympics athlete, and vlogger, who Tyndall always cited as his biggest influence.
Dakota Redd Storm Mehus was born on September 22, 1998 in the Southern Oregon city of Ashland, to David Paul Mehus, Sr, and Sandra Kay Tyndall. Tyndall spent most of his childhood in Phoenix, Oregon. He has also lived in Winston, Missouri, Zephyrhills, Florida, Columbus, Georgia, San Antonio, Texas, and New Gloucester, Maine. Tyndall's favorite bands and/or musicians are: The Beach Boys, Buck Owens, Jake Bugg, The Temptations, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Seekers, Blondie, Neighb'rhood Child'rn, Dion DiMucci, and Martha Reeves & the Vandellas.
