In 2004, South Korean master genre visionary Bong Joon Ho created an extraordinary, intense cat and mouse game blending elements of brilliant action, tension and thrilling horror. An astonishing all-star cast including Han Suk-Kyu, Sung Hyun-Ah, Byun Hee-Bong, Park Hae-il, Kim Byeong-Ok and Song Jae-Ho is led by a gripping performance from Song Kang-Ho, as a young Changwon detective named Eun living with his stern father (Jae-Ho) and his derelict brother (Suk-Kyu), two known police officers who recruit Eun to help find three serial killers involved in the murders of several Korean generals, forming a mass political assassination. When Eun discovers the next plan of the killers is to assassinate his father, it's a race against time to search for the assassins. Bong Joon-Ho's The Searchers ranks as among the most complex and most meticulous pictures in the entire thriller genre.
