The Blekinge Institute of Technology or Blekinge tekniska högskola is a [university college]] with campuses located in Karlskrona, Ronneby, and Karlshamn, Sweden.

The university offers programs not only within Technology but also Management, Economy, Health, Planning, Social Science and Humanities.

In 2003, Blekinge Institute of Technology began to offer a Master's program in Strategic Leadership toward Sustainability, using principles from the science-and system-based sustainability framework called The Natural Step. Meanwhile, other masters programmes offered there include telecommunications, mechanical engineering with emphasis on structural mechanics, security engineering, software engineering, ubiquitous computing etc.

Blekinge Institute of Technology is surrounded by lots of telecommunications & software companies like Vodafone (now telenor), Ericsson AB, Wireless Independent Provider (WIP), UiQ (developer of the software used in new Sony Ericsson phones), etc. The school focuses on Applied IT and sustainable development of industry & society.
