One Day Alive is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 2011. The lineup consisted of founding member and lead guitarist Tony Rossumano, lead vocalist Randy Webb, lead guitarist Casey Davis, bassist Scott Ryan, drummer Garfield "Garf" Redden.

They were signed by Silent Majority Group, a subsidary of Warner Music Group, in 2022. One Day Alive is currently managed by Jeff Hanson.

History

Early Years (2011-2016)

Tony (with the help of then manager Ashley Johns) formed the band One Day Alive. Nick lead with vocals, Tony on guitar, Jeremy was on bass and Jake on drums. The band successful recorded an EP called "Everyday Is Bizarre", in 2014. The single "No Turning Back" got reginal airplay on the radio and later a music video[1]. They successfully toured and opened for bands like 10 years, Bobaflex, Saliva, Fuel, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Taproot, Days of the New, and Hinder [2] They disbanded in 2016 due to Rossumano focusing on graduate school at University of Cincinnati.[3]

Current lineup (2020-present)

Garfeld "Garf Redden grew up in San Diego, California. His father, a lead singer played alongside Jake E Lee (Ozzy Osborne) in Teaser (which became the house band at the club Straita Head Sound) Garf, at the age of 10 was exposed to the Metal Glam Metal scene as he became the drum tech for them.[4] In years time Garf transplanted to Ohio. He was playing in cover bands and later even filed-in with Tommy Tutone in 2008-2010.[5]

As a teenager Randy's first exposure to Garf was when he was in Texbabies, as a fan. It wasn't too long after seeing Garf play, that Randy's own band, Fractured Mirror opened up for them.[6]

After a previous incarnation of One Day Alive (2010-2016) founder Tony Rossumano set out to assembled a new lineup in 2020.

Tony met Randy through a mutual friend and after writing a couple songs, the band grew. Scott joined shorty after. As the band was recording some tracks, Randy reached out to his teenage friend Garf to lay down some drum tracks. After that Garf was on board with the band. In 2022 Casey joined the band as a second lead guitarist.[7]
