John Gouldstone (1764–unknown) was an Essex cricketer of the late 18th century. Few details of him have been found in extant records. He was from Ingatestone but and was a member of Hornchurch Cricket Club which was the leading Essex club at the time. His name has been spelled in various ways on scorecards (e.g., Goulston, Gouldston) and he is believed to have sometimes used the pseudonym of "Goldswain".
