Telok Kurau Secondary School was established on the year 1965. She is a school with a student population of 800 and permanent teaching staff of around 45. Being a small school, students have enjoyed cozy relationship their educators.

Academic Program

The school offers four years express program which leads to GCE O Level as well as academic program for the students who follow the Normal academic and Normal Technical path. All express students in Telok Kurau are offered pure physics, chemistry, and biology beside additional mathematic. This is in line with the school beliefs in opening the widest academic possibilities for her students.


Campus

The permanent school campus sits on Chin Cheng Avenue along Still Road not far away from Eunos MRT station. She can be accessed by the bus service 2, 7, 13, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 40, 55, 67, 155.

School Achievement

The school achieves a silver award for NPCC and a bronze medal for Girl Guide for the year 2007. The school possesses stellar and consistent record over the years in adding academic values to students.

Admission and Enrolment

Secondary one students are admitted base on the merit of PSLE results. Secondary one students that have not taken PSLE or students who wish to be admitted into other level will need to sit for a battery of placement tests.

Telok Kurau Secondary is a mixed school of 800 students. There are roughly equal number of boys and girls in the school. Apart from the Chinese, Malay and Indian student population which reflect the demographics of Singapore, she has a significant number of foreign students from China, Korea, Japan, and countries of South East Asia.
