Links at Greek mythology pages

Hi, in edits such as these two, you seem to have added numerous links which don't appear to add anything of value, and break an existing citation style. Is there any reason behind doing this? I have reverted your edits at those two pages, but you have made similar changes elsewhere as well. – Michael Aurel (talk) 08:20, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

Predominantly, using bots, we can archive links/citations (dead or non-dead) to save contents for future, that doesn't mean changing the existing style citation within a particular article, so no need to worry and revert!! Billjones94 (talk) 08:28, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

I see. Your changes added "Archived [date] at the Wayback Machine" after all of the links to Perseus.com, which made many of the notes in the articles almost unreadable, and the "archived" links contained no content which differed from the existing links. It's ok, just please try and make sure when making such edits that they do not adversely affect pages. – Michael Aurel (talk) 08:39, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

Please stop adding in archive links to live URLs all over the site. They are extremely cluttersome (a recent edit to Airbus added 16,000+ bytes and one to FIFA Club World Cup added an even more cluttersome 25,898 bytes... all to save in total across both pages literally two dead links). These edits add exceptionally little and are basically WP:FAITACCOMPLI. Ifly6 (talk) 14:54, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
