The [[museum]] comprises the [[Churchill War Rooms|Cabinet War Rooms]], a historic underground complex that housed a [[Government of the United Kingdom|British government]] command centre throughout the [[World War II|Second World War]], and the Churchill Museum, a biographical museum exploring the life of British statesman [[Winston Churchill]].

==History==
The Cabinet War Rooms were in use from 1939 to 1945. After the end of the [[war]], the historic value of the Cabinet War Rooms was recognised. The complex was restored and opened to the public in 1984.

==Churchill Museum==
